Mike Talbert is our featured person this month in our series of “Redlands People Who Have Made a Difference”. Unfortunately Mike passed a way in March. He was a general surgeon who practiced in Redlands. He was a member of The Redlands Noon Kiwanis for over 50 years. Mike and Harriet (featured person in April 2009) have volunteered and donated to countless organization in our community.

I am planning a photography Safari to Africa in 2010, and would like to invite you to join me on this great adventure. We will be visiting Botswana, home to the Okavango Delta. This trip promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience and the perfect setting to photograph the fabulous wildlife of Africa. Our 10 day trip will give us plenty of time to capture the largest elephants, the smallest nesting birds and everything in-between. Our group will be small allowing us to travel in vehicles designed for excellent game viewing.
